We are delighted to announce that, thanks to partnership and innovation, Renewi’s Coolrec Plastics has a new, state-of-the-art compounding machine. This has been enabled by our partnership with MG Plastic Recycling.

The new line means Coolrec Plastics is able to produce high-end ABS regranulates and compounds. Over the last year, we have been developing our Coolstar-ABS product portfolio and we are now able to offer  our clients tailor-made ABS compounds, a novelty for Coolrec. Coolstar-ABS is suitable for various injection molded applications It is used in construction, automotive, electronics and other industries.

Renewi’s  Coolrec Division is the leading processor of WEEE in Europe, with production locations in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, and is a supplier of high-quality secondary raw materials, like (non-ferro) metals and plastics.

Coolrec Plastics processes mainly WEEE-plastics, with a focus on PS, ABS, and PP/PE. Rough input is produced in Waalwijk, to a pure and clean regrind, followed by regranulates and compounds, under our Coolstar portfolio.
