The recent WEEELABEX audit recently conducted at our Coolrec site in Dordrecht showed promising results. WEEELABEX, which stands for WEEE Label of Excellence, evaluates companies based on their compliance with standards in the treatment and disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment. With an emphasis on quality, environment and safety, Coolrec is constantly improving its performance and processes and applies the latest techniques and knowledge.

10 years ago, Coolrec was the first recycling company in Europe to obtain the WEEELABEX certificate. And a year ago, Coolrec made history again by being the first recycling company to renew this certificate for the sixth time.

While awaiting the official performance test results of the recent audit, the auditors have already conveyed their positive assessment. They indicated that Coolrec has made substantial steps forward and that the main improvement lies in maintaining this high level of performance. This recognition is a great compliment to our team and reflects their hard work and dedication.
