Bas van Ginkel appointed as Managing Director of Coolrec

Bas van Ginkel was recently appointed as Managing Director of Coolrec, replacing Maurice Geelen.
Bas joined Renewi in September 2018 as Strategy Director and was promoted to Renewi's Executive Committee in February 2019. Bas has been instrumental in building a clear and concise strategy for Renewi. In addition, he has put Sustainability at the center of Renewi’s agenda, building a roadmap towards 50% carbon reduction in 2030. Bas has also taken the lead in organising Innovation and Engineering across Renewi.
As Bas puts it: “I’m incredibly excited to take on the role as Managing Director of Coolrec. Coolrec is at the forefront of the circular economy, truly demonstrating what’s possible by closing the loop. The e-waste segment provides tremendous opportunities for growth, and I look forward to leading the team in this exciting time.”
