Coolstar-E

This PS granulate, Coolstar-E, is a sustainable and economic solution to ‘virgin’ plastics. When it comes to quality, we are the leading branch with highest polymer purity. In addition to the greatest purity, Coolrec Plastics can also guarantee the feedstock. This is thanks to the ‘recycling chain’ of WEEE in our own group

Coolstar-E is a clear example of our waste-to-product strategy.

Of course we monitor continuously our quality level, by analysing in our in-house laboratory. With our RecyClass certification, verified by an accredited third party, Coolrec guarantees full traceability of plastics recycled through our processes. We can be transparent about the origin of plastic waste, as well as the methods used to calculate and verify its content.

Coolstar-E Plus (SDA)

Coming from the small domestic appliances waste stream. Is based on an high multi electrostatic storted flake, resulting in a black regranulate. No additives are used in this process, and therefore the purest form.  Most suitable for injection moulding.

Coolstar-E Plus (ICT)

Coming from ICT appliances waste stream. Is based on a high multi electrostatic storted flake, resulting in a black regranulate. No additives are used in this process, and therefore the purest form. Due to the smart source selection, this product has a higher impact strength than Coolstar-E Plus (SDA) while maintaining 100% recycled content. Most suitable for injection moulding and extrusion.

Coolstar-E Master

Similar to Coolstar-E Plus, but modified to match to the consumer requirements on technical properties and appearance. Suitable for thin wall sheet extrusion. Also, injection moulded product where higher impact for drop-test is required.

From waste to product

At Coolrec, we pride ourselves on being a key European player in the circular economy.

By combining our plastics intake stream with our own recycling operations and partner facilities, we maintain a reliable and consistent output of secondary raw materials in terms of both quality and volume.

Subsequently, we either upcycle these materials ourselves or offer them for sale to producers who value circularity as much as we do.
