To optimally meet category-specific requirements, Coolrec has developed and operates a separate station for the processing of air conditioners, water coolers, heat pumps, tumble dryers and PU-insulated boilers.
For these appliances, a partial dismantling is needed to access the refrigerating system. A combination of pliers and drill heads are used by the operator on this workstation.
Following the tailored depollution stage, the resulting materials advance to the WEEE-specialised shredder line, which is optimized for extracting high value from metals and plastics.
