Organisation & structure
Renewi E-waste operates as part of the Specialities division within the Renewi group. Our activities in the Netherlands are fully owned by Renewi. In Belgium, we have partnered with Recydel SA, where local enterprises Intradel SCRL and Spaque SA each hold a 10% share. In France, we established a partnership with Vitamine T SAS, which similarly holds a 10% share.
Renewi E-waste operates one of the largest recycling plants for WEEE plastics in Europe. In Waalwijk, Netherlands, we operate the world's largest line dedicated to refrigerator plastics. We processes output not only from our own operations but also from various partners across Europe.
Our organisational structure facilitates efficient maintenance and support, with all companies accessing a shared spare parts inventory and a shredder pool. Additionally, they benefit from centralised engineering and technical support teams.
Our approach
The strategy of Renewi E-waste aligns with the overarching goal of Renewi: to be the leading waste-to-product company. We are dedicated to contributing to a sustainable society for our key stakeholders, including customers, employees and local communities.
Our commitment to sustainability drives our goal of achieving the highest material recovery rates. By investing in advanced technologies and innovations, we lead in producing high-quality raw materials. We work closely with producers to optimise processes, focusing on quality and safety.
Research and Development at Renewi E-waste often involves collaboration with external partners. We believe that an open-minded approach enhances our processes and contributes to industry advancements. We conduct lab testing and pilot projects to implement technological and process improvements across all facilities.
