Founded in 1991, Coolrec began its journey in the Netherlands, focusing on refrigerator recycling. Initially part of Van Gansewinkel, we became part of Renewi following the merger with Shanks. Over the past 30 years, we have continuously developed and improved our processes, establishing a strong position in the recycling industry.

In 2025, we rebranded our name from Coolrec to Renewi. This change reflects our growth and commitment to a diverse range of E-waste recycling activities. As their E-waste business, with Renewi we embrace a brand that embodies REcycle, NEW, and Innovation. Together, we are poised to face the future and continue striving for the best solutions for you and our planet.
