In Europe, we annually throw away hundreds of millions of kilos of domestic appliances such as refrigerators, TVs, computers, coffee-makers and washing machines. Disposing of these appliances or incinerating them is not just harmful to the environment, it is also legally forbidden. Consequently, they have to be collected separately and recycled. Coolrec is specialised in this activity.

Coolrec was founded in 1991 as a recycler of refrigerators. Today, however, Coolrec is one of the largest companies in Europe that recycles waste of electrical and electronic equipment.
