Renewi Coolrec has been honored to receive the Golden Circle Award from provincial executive Anne-Marie Spierings, after the Province of North Brabant recognised its role as a pioneer for the Brabant Circular Economy.

Coolrec was explicitly praised for achieving "end of waste" status for its products, an important milestone towards the future. 

Presenting the award on December 1, 2022, Anne-Marie said: "As the Benelux market leader in WEEE recycling, Coolrec has mastered the art of recovering raw materials in the highest possible degree of purity. As a result, they contribute enormously to Brabant's impact for the Circular Economy in Europe."
